I teach Kindergarten at Thickwood Heights School.  I have been teaching for a total of 10 years at Thickwood, Where The Arts Come Alive.  I have taught kindergarten 7 years and enjoy the many chances I have with my students to learn through play and built knowledge through the students' interests.  I have two children that both attend Thickwood and they both are lucky to be able to participate in visual and dramatic arts, weekly.  Students have opportunities to explore ideas through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities and physical literacy daily within my classroom, and the school community.  I feel lucky to be part of the Thickwood Heights School family.  In my spare time, I love to enjoy family time, reading, listening to professional development podcasts, gardening, camping, kayaking, yoga, cycling, and exploring natural spaces.
